Samantha has over eight years of experience in political operations, legislative leadership and strategic communications.
Samantha has a strong ability to build stakeholder networks and relationships, and a keen sense of the provincial and federal political landscape. She has extensive experience supporting successful political campaigns at the municipal, provincial and federal levels, including working in the Saskatchewan Party War Room in both the 2011 and 2016 provincial elections.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Samantha spent five years in various roles with the Government of Saskatchewan. She served as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff to the Premier in Executive Council for two years where she also acted as the Communications Coordinator. Being in Executive Council exposed Samantha to a broad range of issues and experience including issues management, crisis communications, media relations, legislative organization and stakeholder engagement.
She then served as Ministerial Assistant to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General Gord Wyant, and finally worked in Government Relations with the Honourable Jim Reiter. There, Samantha worked on the First Nations, Métis and Northern Affairs portfolio as well as Municipal Affairs. She provided issues management, policy research, media preparation, speech writing and legislative business support and also gained a great understanding of disaster assistance and relief through the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP).
Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan.
